Phil Colors — 12×24 showcase

Future in da house. Sometimes I ask interesting musicians to record a mix that will consist exclusively of their works. Today, the showcase is in the mood that you would probably least expect to hear on 12″: future house with its fashion for springy bass, pitched voices and a metallic buzz in the head. At first, the showcase is slow, but it picks up speed around the 20-minute mark. By the second hour, it turns into a spirited mix, as if the lights were turned off in the club and people started moshing. The author of all the tracks and remixes is Kaliningrad-based musician Phil Colors.

He says: “I’m glad to be a guest of 12″ to share my music. Here are my tracks and remixes for the entire period that I’ve been engaged in production, different moods and rhythms. I like many things, so I don’t want to stick to any genre. Enjoy!”
