Brief story of acid trance
It is generally thought that acid trance spawned at the intersection of acid techno and acid house, but with slight differences from both. Acid trance is recognized by faster tempo than house and characterized by less emphasis on percussion than techno. Acid trance developed, if it were, simultaneously with Goa trance in the early 90’s but didn’t adopt its complex multilayered arrangements.
