Kinetic Records compilations: Tranceport/Transport

Another selection of good music from the noughties. The first Tranceport, recorded by Oakenfold in 1998, was indecently crammed with the most naive trance, so we’ll start with the second album, where the sound is already more interesting: pleasantly progressive and not so much trance as house. The further the albums numbers go, the less overtly trance the tracks become. This is probably why the Tranceport series was renamed Transport on its fourth release.
