An interesting half-hour album at the intersection of vaporwave, chillwave, and retrowave, basically, with an obvious aesthetic and sound reminiscent of the eighties. Like many others, musically Ben Macklin paints an idyllic picture of time passing luxuriously in the shade of palm trees in the middle of the huge hall of a multi-storey shopping centre, listening to music from a cassette player with a Diet Coke in your pocket. And then, the drive home in a convertible along the ocean coastline, fading beautifully into the sunset.
